Our Story

Founded by Jeanine Haith, ShowHouse Interiors has quickly grown into a premier design studio creating timeless, inspiring and well curated interiors. Originally developed in 2007 as a retail destination located on Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, the showroom was designed to reflect Jeanine’s passion for procuring and showcasing the finest home furnishings from across the country.  Seasonal reveals of shoppable room vignettes incorporating “one of a kind” antiques

with new and vintage home furnishings; quickly garnered a loyal following from design enthusiast across Metro Detroit. The retail showroom experience was a vital part of the journey leading Jeanine to quickly realize that working with people in their homes, creating spaces that reflected their personality and lifestyles – was most rewarding.  In 2012, the showroom relocated to Fisher Road in the City of Grosse Pointe and transitioned to an all-encompassing design studio.  As lead designer on all projects, Jeanine is intimately involved in the process from concept development through installation. With a belief that a project is most successful when a client senses their unique inner spirit in the finished product; Jeanine finds great inspiration in working with each client to create their own personalized environment that reflects their history, lifestyle and interests. We have developed a unique network and obtain furnishings from a vast collection of local, national and international suppliers.  Our resource list and vendor partners for new furnishings includes an assortment of American Made and internationally sourced high quality furniture, lighting, fabrics, wall coverings and building materials.  Projects range from staging, one room redesigns, full house renovations and build outs.  No project is too small or too large.  The final designed spaces are timeless, beautiful, functional and durable. ShowHouse Interiors has proudly participated in five Junior League of Detroit Designer Showhouses.

Jeanine Haith, Principal

Like many in the industry, Jeanine took a non-traditional route to design.  Upon graduating with a degree in Business Administration, she was recruited by Ford Motor Company and enjoyed a 15-year career which moved Jeanine through the ranks of management in advertising and sales.  But Jeanine always had a fascination with art, design and interiors.  She spent vacation time traveling to global showhouses and antique fairs for inspiration all the

while completing course work in design, art history and training her eye for antiques.  In 2005, while renovating her historic home in the Indian Village neighborhood of Detroit; Jeanine noticed that the local area had limited retail destinations for fine home furnishings in the area, and an idea was born.   In 2007, Jeanine departed her corporate career and established ShowHouse Interiors.  This leap of faith has been her most rewarding personal achievement. When not designing, planning or installing projects she loves spending family time with her loving husband, Ross, her beautiful mother Bonita and her spoiled dog Sophia.
